Step 1: make a white cross with a yellow center
Step 2: make a white cross
Step 3: make an entire white face and complete the first layer making sure the colors bordering the white face match up with the colors of the center cube on each respective side.
They will continue to learn how to solve it for the remainder of the session, and hopefully by the end be able to complete the whole thing!
